A number of single masted sailing craft and rowing boats at Belem, Brazil. Two rowing boats in the foreground contain palm fronds. Some of sailing craft have small cabins and some are loaded with split logs. Many of the boats are named and the names include Soldarina and Santa Maria. Some of the boats have Barcarena written on their bow and this is a district close to Belem.
