Local boats berthed bow-on to the quayside in the harbour at Belem, Brazil

A line of about ten single masted sailing craft moored bow-on to the quay in the harbour at Belem, Brazil. Three of the craft are drying sails and many of them have wooden barrels and wicker baskets on board. One of the boats in the foreground is numbered 8391. People are on the quayside and a two storey colonial style building fronts the harbour.
