Local sailing craft in the harbour at Belem, Brazil

A number of single masted sailing craft in the harbour at Belem, Brazil. The nearest boat, seen from the quayside above her starboard bow, has a crew of three who are all looking at the camera. The boat alongside has a cargo of leaves covered by a woven palm leaf matting. The boats in the background include some drying sails, some have awnings over the boom and one is named Itamaraty. A two storey colonial style building is fronting the harbour in the background.
