The railway marshalling yard and harbour at Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada

The railway marshalling yard and harbour at Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada. The photographer is looking north-by-east across the marshalling yard in which there are a large number of box cars and two low open goods wagons. The passenger/cargo coastal liner New Northland (1926), seen from off her starboard beam, is almost hidden by a large shed on the landing stage. The passenger cruise ship Franconia (1923) is at anchor in the Humber River. She is seen from off her port bow and is painted white overall.
