The market place on the Motlawa River, Danzig. The small passenger vessels Holm (fl. 1930) and Anna (fl. 1930), lighters and a steam tug are alongside the quay. The brick-built circular Swan Tower with a cone-shaped tiled roof is to the left of centre. The flank wall of the building on the right is advertising the Restaurant & Ausschank Unter den Linden Otto Jaglinski. The photographer is looking west.
