The harbour and town at St. George's, Grenada
The harbour and town at St. George's on the island of Grenada. The photographer is looking west from high ground to the east of the town showing two 2-masted schooners and a sloop alongside wharves in the harbour with lighters and open boats at moorings in the middle of the harbour. Fort George is on the left and three churches can be seen; the one with the four spired tower near Fort George is St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and next to it is the clock tower of the Anglican Church. At anchor off the coast is the Royal Navy training cruiser Frobisher (1920) with a full set of awnings rigged.
