The harbour at St. George's on the island of Grenada. The photographer is looking south-west along the quay showing a line of boats moored to the quay. Two local boats named Velcia and Ever Green are in the foreground and astern of them are three motor lifeboats from the White Star Line passenger cruise ship Britannic (1930). The nearest of these lifeboats is numbered 12 and has the letter D on it. The next one is numbered 11 and has the letter C. An hand operated crane on the quay is surrounded by local people and tourists. The General Post Office is in the background.
