Fort George is in the background with the four spired tower of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and the castellated clock tower of the Anglican Church in the centre. A wooded hillside is in the foreground. At anchor in St. George's Bay and seen from off her starboard beam is the White Star Line passenger cruise ship Britannic (1930).
