A stern view of the Estonian general cargo ship Kastor (1892) dried out alongside the quay wall in St. Peter Port harbour, Guernsey, Channel Islands. The top of her mainmast is just out of the picture. On the quayside are the premises of W. Holmes & Son Ltd, Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd. and Piprell's Stores. On the skyline to the left of centre are the tower of the assembly rooms and the four spired tower of St. John's Church. To the right of centre is the Old Government House Hotel. The negative is captioned Gurnsey (sic).
