The town and the harbour of Haifa, Palestine, viewed from a low hill above the town. Houses, commercial premises and warehouses and between the photographer and the harbour. Five merchant ships are alongside the warehouses and a further six are moored stern-on to the breakwater. The large passenger ship in the centre may be a Donaldson Line vessel, either Athenia (1923) or Letitia (1925).
