Ships Cover for the 30-knot and River class torpedo boat destroyers (1895-1907). The documentation mainly comprises alterations made to these classes, steam trial reports, correspondence relating to the 'stock' 30-knotters purchased by the Admiralty, vessel condition reports, stability calculations, reports of vessel behaviour at sea, details of paint schemes, schemes of complement and notes and correspondence on the tactical usefulness of these torpedo boat destroyers. The earliest papers date from September 1904 and the last from September 1915.
