The Brickell Avenue Bascule Bridge over the Miami River at Miami, Florida.
The Brickell Avenue Bascule Bridge over the Miami River near Brickell Point, Miami, Florida. The bridge is almost in the closed position for river traffic. Signs on the bridge advise a speed limit of 6 miles per hour and a 13'3" clearance at mean low tide. The photographer is looking into the Miami River from Biscayne Bay and above the bridge are the premises of Forest E. Johnson Boats. Leisure craft and a passenger excursion vessel are alongside the riverbank beyond the bridge on the left.
