Motor speedboats, including the Primavera III (fl. 1930) and Primavera II (fl. 1930) moored stern-on to the north quay in Port Hercule at Monaco. The photographer is on the elevated road above the north quay looking west-by-south towards the west quay. Luxury motor cars are on the north promenade. Hotels in the La Condamine district front the harbour with, from left to right, the Beau Sejour Hotel, Monegasque Hote, Bristol Hotel, Majestic Hotel and Renaissance Hotel. The rocky outcrop of Tete de Chien and the end of Mont Agel are in the background. A vertical format negative.
