The photographer is on the elevated road above the north quay looking west-by-south towards the west quay. Luxury motor cars are on the north promenade. Hotels in the La Condamine district front the harbour with, from left to right, the Beau Sejour Hotel, Monegasque Hote, Bristol Hotel, Majestic Hotel and Renaissance Hotel.
