In the port at Montevideo, Uruguay. The three funnelled Montevideo to Buenos Aires passenger ferry Ciudad De Buenos Aires (1914) is alongside a quay with a single funnelled motor ferry berthed ahead of her. In the centre of the picture is the Dirección Nacional de Aduanas de Uruguay (National Customs Headquarters Office) completed in 1931 and in the left background is the unusual Palacio Salvo building, completed in 1928.
