The harbour waterfront at Pola, Italy

The harbour waterfront at Pola, Italy. The photographer is looking east-south-east towards the city from within the harbour showing a number of single and two masted sailing vessels berthed alongside the waterfront. On the left is a short concrete quay with a crane on it and two small steamers are moored bow-on to the waterfront on the extreme left. The Pola Arena, a Roman amphitheatre, is in the centre of the picture.
