The Plateia Coundouriotou at Rhodes. This headland is just north of the Mandraki harbour breakwaters and the photographer is looking north-east showing the facade of the building on it. At anchor in the background and seen from ahead of her starboard beam is the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orion (1935).
