Unknown warship (circa 1870s)

Scale: 1:48. A plan showing the carve work of the starboard bow of an unidentified warship (circa 1870s). The plan states ‘Juno’ but none of the ships of that name had the same bow shape illustrated in the plan. The plan is superimposed with the bow lines at the upper and lower edge of the hull where the carve work was to be placed.

The carve work consists of a profile bust of the goddess Juno facing forwards within an escutcheon with decorative scroll work behind. The name Juno is written within a ribbon below the bust.

The tracing paper is damaged around the edges and some details are missing.
