Unknown, possibly for a Royal Yacht; three figurehead propsals

Scale: 1:48. A plan showing three sketches of the head, head-rails, trail-board and proposed figureheads for an unknown (possible) Royal Yacht. These look to be three alternative designs, but the identity of the yacht is unknown. The strong royal iconography makes it less likely that it will be for a warship.

The left proposal is a large crown, based on the Imperial State Crown of George I, resting on a red cushion edged with gold rope and tassels. This is held up by looped and curled stylised foliage and flowers that curve their way down the trail-board.

The middle proposal is the Royal Coat of Arms in a round shield mounted on carved column that morphs into stylised foliage and curves its way down the trail-board. The shield has a full-length lion rampant on the starboard side with standards and flags behind it. A small crowned bust sits on top of the shield.

The right proposal is the Royal Coat of Arms in a round shield resting on a solid column of scales. The shield has a half-length lion on the starboard side with standards and flags behind it. A red rose, representing England, is above the lion. A larger (compared to the middle proposal) crowned bust sits on top of the shield. Furled battle standards, a cannon, drum and horn are on the lower part of the trail-board.
