Unnamed 178ft proposed steam block ship (1845)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the inboard profile of a 72 gun ship proposed to be fitted as a steam block ship. The drawing states the ship is fitted with screw propellers of 500 Horsepower. Annotatations on the plan state that if the engine is placed in midships the bulkheads in the hold to be as showed in red lines. If placed in the aft hold gold the engines is shown in green lines. The plan is fragile and torn.
