Inscribed by artist: 'Lord Nelson's monument in the Crypt under St Paul's - made by Torch light' Also signed (l.l.) 'T H Shepherd' and dated (l.r) '1830'. See PAD5922 for the print Shepherd based on this drawing, which mistakenly transposes VICS for VISC in the legend correctly shown here on the tomb itself (HORATIO VISC NELSON).
