Tenby luggers
The carvel-built Tenby lugger Florence, regd M81, is seen at close quarters from above its port bow. It is under sail in a light wind on calm water, with the billowing foot of its dipping lug mainsail impeded by the sheet of the jib flying from its bowsprit. The mizzen is a spritsail. The boat, ca. 20ft LOD, is being used for pleasure or tourism, as indicated by the jacket and tie worn by the helmsman. No other crew or passengers are visible, being obscured by the sails seen from the leeward side.
