Medical College, Calcutta [Kolkata]

A black and white landscape photograph of Medical College, Calcutta [Kolkata] with people on the street outside. Around 15 people, mostly Indians, are visible in the foreground, either stood close to a row of pipe sections positioned on the ground or stood around horse-drawn carriage to the right of the image. Behind them is a wall, topped with railings for some of its length. Behind this are the grounds of the college, featuring trees, shrubs and a fountain. The front and east facade of the college can be seen, lined with columns and topped with a pediment. Birds are resting on the pediment and other parts of the building.
