Sketch of sailing vessel Daring and detail of her figurehead

Inscribed below: "Daring May 25th"; on the right: "White streak", and "White streak 3 inches above the lower moulding of quarter gallery". The small sketch at the top right is inscribed: "Steam-Tug".
'Daring' was sold to Castle, Charlton, in 1864, and the figurehead is now part of the National Maritime Museum's collections.
