Reverse: View of the city and pier of Barcelona, sun eclipsed above; abandoned cannon, French in flight (right). Legend: 'VNIVS LIBERATIO ALTERIVS OPPRESSIO.' (The deliverance of one, the overwhelming of the other.) Exergue: 'FVGA GALL . ET ECLIPS . EOD . DIE . 12 . MAII . 1706' (The flight of the French and the eclipse on the same day, 12 May 1706).
