Reverse: Within a cable, knotted below, inscription, 'COMITÉ DES ASSUREURS MARITIMES DE BORDEAUX', '1ER JUILLET 1849' (The committee of Marine Insurers of Bordeaux). Below, a grape vine spray and date, 1 July 1849.
