Bronze band from Nelson's column
Bronze band which supported the arm of the statue on Nelson's column, Trafalgar Square, before restoration. Two holes at the end of the band were were secured by a screw and nut. The three bands were placed round the left arm above the elbow in 1880-1890, after a lightning strike and were removed in 2006.
