Contract for the Bombay Castle (1782)
A 32 page contract for Bombay Castle (1782), a 74-gun Third Rate two decker, between the East India Company and John Perry & Company of Blackwall in the county of Middlesex, signed and dated 29 September 1779. Berwick (1775) is listed because she was the same class as Bombay Castle. Note: The East India Company paid for this warship to be built.
