An album containing 115 dry-mounted photographic prints on 30 pages. Most prints are captioned. The album covers four main themes:

1) Photographs taken from an airship on the Forth: Aerial views of certain ships including Princess Royal (1911), Lion (1910), Indomitable (1907), Autrailia (1911), the Forth Battle Squadron, light cruisers, and battlecruisers.
2) RN Airship Station at Slindon, near Arundel: group photographs of the officers, a track chart for SSZ 39 in August 1918, aerial photographs of warships at sea (including HMS Zubian), fancy dress and other activities.
3) Images from HMS Resolution taken by Pat McDonald: come in two batches but generally show other vessels in company with the ship.
4) Surrendered German submarines at Weymouth and Portland: the sequence includes U109 and some US battleships.
