Birmingham (1936)
Scale 1:96. Plan shows the sections, as fitted of the Town class (also known as the Southampton sub-class) light cruiser Birmingham (1936). The drawing shows the sections at frames 243, 225, 211, 165, 139, 115, 96, 77, 49, 28 and 13. The plan bears a Devonport Dockyard Manager of Constructive Department stamp, dated 18 November 1937. The drawing shows alterations in green ink made at Devonport Dockyard, dated 31 August 1943. A second Devonport Dockyard Manager of Constructive Department stamp, dated 11 September 1948 is also printed on the plan. A note on the plan states that the drawing has been cancelled and superceded by drawing P.O. M . C. D. 029367. This drawing is noted as Sheet number 7 of 8. This cancelled drawing has been superceded by NPA7054.
