'Royal Caroline' [also 'Carolina'] (1734)
Scale 1:32. A plan showing the sheer lines with inboard detail, sternboard, body and longitudinal half-breadth of the Royal Yacht 'Royal Caroline' [also 'Carolina'] (1734).
A note on the obverse side of the plan reads 'A copy of a draught which was sent from the Lords of the Admiralty 28th April 1749. Proposed for altering the Royal Caroline which was sent to Woolwich 5th May 1749', while two others on the reverse are as follows:
'Draught proposed for lengthening the Old Ship Royal Caroline'.
'Yacht Royal Caroline, made a sloop and named Peregrine about 8 guns 1749'.
