An album relating to the career of Admiral Leonard Andrew Boyd Donaldson

A bound photograph album with a broken spine containing 441 prints of various sizes and 58 loose photographs. There are postcards and half tone illustrations included in the collection. This album is made up mostly of personal photographs ands postcards relating to Admiral Donaldson. Most of the album is uncaptioned. Maritime topics featured include: HMS Ariadne (1898), Kent (1901), the sinking of HMS Bedford (1901), sports day on HMS Vernon and firing torpedoes.
There are also topographical views of: Barbados, Bermuda, Jamaica, Trinidad, Grenada, Sydney and the Far East.
