Items are organised in order of the volumes from which they were extracted, and include:
Material related to the proposed sale of the 'Outlines of the Globe' for publication, to 'Mr White'; various extracted illustrations, prints, and charts, including original works, e.g. two watercolours ascribed to Nicholas Pocock in 1796 depicting British ships off the coast of India; letters addressed to Thomas Pennant from J. Aikin, J. E. Smith, Mr. Middleton, William Boys, Joshua Scrope, and Joseph Cooper Walker; letters addressed to David Pennant, Lord Kenyon, Mrs Havard[?] [from Admiral Totty], and Richard Bull; manuscript notes and sources for the 'Outlines'; a manuscript poem in Latin by the Rev. Richard Williams of Fron, addressed to Pennant as author of the 'Outlines', with a loose English translation; newspaper cuttings (many post-dating Pennant's death).
