A medallion commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) mounted on a miniature anchor fouled with rope with a suspension ring at the top. The medallion bears a profile portrait facing left with the legend 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON BORN 29 SEPTR 1758'. The medallion is stamped and the rest of the item is cast. The backgound of the medallion is painted black.
