In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Captain Jackson of the SMYRNA MERCHANT Hired ship has requested to be supplied with guns. Directions are given for the owners to be reminded that they are to supply the guns, as agreed at her time of hiring. The Men of the MONTAGUE are to be paid their wages aboard the ships to which they have been turned over and her Officers and servants are to be paid off. The ship is to be put into the Ordinary at Chatham and her repairs are to be put in hand as soon as is convenient.
