In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Petition of Thomas Hutton in which he claims to have served in the QUAKER Ketch, PEARL, SALLY ROSE and KINGFISHER - where he lost his right eye - for a total of twenty-six years and is now, due to age and infirmity, no longer able to serve. He applies for superannuation. On the reverse is an entry referring the petition to the Navy Board for opinion and recommendation. It is countersigned by William Bridgeman, Secretary to the Admiralty Board.
