In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to give orders for graving the SUNDERLAND, now in Portsmouth Harbour.
By reason of Lieutenant Gunman of the EXPERIMENT dying in the West Indies, and his Commander a short time before, there cannot be produced to you as required a Certificate from his Commander of his behaviour, nor his own Journal.
You are to cause his Wages to be paid to such person authorised by law to receive them, if you have no other objection.
The THUNDERBOLT Prize and SWAN, appointed to Convoy some Bristol Ships, are now at Milford in need of Provisions. We direct you to give immediate Orders to the Victualling Commissioners to supply them.
The Merchants of Bristol who trade to Virginia have offered that their Ships to carry what Provisions the DOVER Prize cannot stow.
