Travel Diary kept by Ivy Sharp.

No dates or headings, handwritten page numbers. Other documents in the collection (e.g. NOT/44/3) give the dates of the expedition as 20 July 1966 to 5 August 1996. Contains details of timings, meals, lengths of journeys, geographical surroundings, flora and fauna, the perils of constantly changing time zones, and the author’s mood throughout the cruise. She seems unimpressed and uncomfortable much of the time, but enjoys the lectures given on board by the naturalists/lecturers and has a sense of humour. Sharp concludes that she is “very pleased” to have experienced the Northwest Passage.
