In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Letter from an Official at Portsmouth referring to lengthening the keel of the EDGAR and to the maintenance of the Guardships. Also mentioned is the demand for Provisions by Officers of the Ropeyard and to directions given to the DUNKIRK to use up the Provisions they brought with them from the West Indies until they are exhausted. He informs also that as the Surgeon of he Yard has no accommodation within the Yard he has never participated in inspecting the nightly watch. Signed by Henry Greenhill; Dockyard Officer.
