Handwritten draft of a letter to the Editor of the 'Mariner's Mirror'.
Handwritten draft of a letter to the Editor of the 'Mariner's Mirror', asking that a notice be put into the next issue to request information on the whereabouts of the part of the manuscript of 'The King's Ships' related to ship names starting with the letters from K to O, which had been missing for many years. The letter is unsigned and undated, but it states that Lecky had died, so it must have been written after his death on 2 June 1940. It was possibly writtten by his wife, Agnes Lecky, or perhaps his daughter, Barbara Lecky.
