Letters to John Wilson Croker, Secretary of the Admiralty, from Rear Admiral Benjamin Hallowell, mainly written from Cove (Cobh) in Ireland. Hallowell was commander-in-chief on the coast of Ireland between 1816-18, and commander-in-chief at the Nore in Ireland between 1821-24.
