In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Extract from a letter received from Captain Clifford Chamberlain, Commander of the CHESTER, at Plymouth. He complains that his Carpenter's order for deals necessary to construct a platform for wounded men to lie on was denied by Agent Greenhill while the ship was in the River. Captain Chamberlain did not become aware of the deficiency until the ship had sailed. Signed by Captain Clifford Chamberlain, Commander of the CHESTER.
