In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
By order of the Commissioners of the Admiralty, Thomas Phillips is to have two of the 40 shallops lately built as he shall make choice of. Lent to him in the condition they are now in with their tackle and furniture and to be employed as privateers. Thomas Phillips shall by or before the last day of April next return and deliver the two shallops into their Majesties' stores in the same good condition as lent to him.
