In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
I ask that I be allowed guns in place of the patereros that are allowed for a brigantine, they not being found useful as no man can stand near them without being hurt. In my opinion 4 falcons and 5 patereros of brass and of 100 weight and a half each may be carried.
