In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board has reported that Captain [Torply] does not appear to have followed his Instructions adequately; but the Admiralty remind the Board that an amnesty was granted for a given period and that he should be paid his wages. However, he is not to be paid for the period between the end of the amnesty and his becoming suoerannuated.
