In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosure: Copy of a letter from Mr William Collins in which he informs the recipient that he has hired a Ketch to transport the Necessaries for a ship now lying at Fareham unloading coal and that it will not be fully discharged until next week; and that Commissioner Dummer has promised the writer that the collier will be loaded as soon as she comes into Dock and convoy will speedily be arranged and asks if there is anything the recipient needs transporting from Southampton, and if so to organise it without delay. He concludes by saying that he doubts he will be able to launch before the Second Day of next month.
