Two handwritten indexed book one of East India Company ships including type of ships, tonnage, when built, Master of the ship and specific remarks such as captured by French, Slaver, lost at sea and on Drake's voyage around the world. Second handwritten index book consists of a list of Masters and their ship from 1567 - 1850; the vessels listed in red belonged or were charted by the East India Company; Sir Francis Drake is included in this index. Also included is a typed version of the list of Masters A-K (Missing F, G, H, I, J)
