Log kept by Charles Hilton as a seaman on the iron ship ESKASONI (1886), on voyage from Melbourne to London, between 29 March 1890 and 15 July 1890. The volume also contains a list of his signed articles since going to sea as an apprentice in 1883 and lyrics for popular songs. Both the front and back of the volume have pieces of the cover and pages missing.
