Rear Admiral Sir William Edward Parry, (19 December 1790 – 8 or 9 July 1855) was an English rear-admiral and Arctic explorer. Sir William Jackson Hooker, (July 6, 1785 - August 12, 1865), English botanist who was the first director of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.
