Furse Papers - collection of papers including draft letters, reports, correspondence and notes, 16 Jan-6 Dec 1917, re: the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, the Committee Enquiry into the VAD (Voluntary Aid Detachment) Organisation, VAD uniform, and VAD members in Salonika. Correspondence includes that with RE Crowdy, Principal Commandant, VADs France, and Lord Derby, Secretary of State for War. Also includes: an enrolment form, 'Women's Legion Military Cookery Section', with information leaflets; and a leaflet on VAD uniform by Margaret Ampthill, Chair of the Joint Women's VAD Committee.
