Letters relating to Prisoners of War 1808 - 1812. Includes papers relating to the establishment of a prisoner of war camp on Melville Island. There are also bills of exchange showing payments made to the agent for prisoners at Halifax, and letters from the Office for Prisoners of War. The latter half of the volume deals with establishing a system of exchange for prisoners during the War of 1812. 20th April 1808 - 31st December 1812.
